SALVATION ARMY AUCTION
In the same week as the bell ringing, the Lafayette Kiwanis Club holds an action to raise additional moneys for the Army. Kiwanians bring in wrapped items of special home-made food or garage sale type objects that still have some usefulness. With the club bidding, many thousands of dollars is raised. The 2009 total - $5,575.00.
